Pomona and Rona Islands 2007
These two islands are located on Lake Manapouri in Fiordland.
Pomona had a number of invasive species including deer, stoats, possums, rats and mice but Rona was only infested with mice.
A two application project was carried out in July 2007 following the removal of deer, stoats and possums.
The operation was carried out by the Pomona Island Trust and supported by NZ DoC.
